An ex bought me "Thirteenth Gen" as a birthday gift and I liked aspects of it, but I couldn't get over the idea that not only was the Baby Boom super-zoom-awesome according to the Boomer-controlled culture, even those Boomers who were supposed to be sympathetic to us cast THEIR OWN CHILDREN as the next "great" generation. I am a trailing Xer (bicentennial baby.) My entire life, I have heard how much my cohort sucks. I am tired of hearing it. (You meant this to become the Cindy Rant Channel, right?) Also, I have a deep and abiding hate for Strauss and Howe.
